In response to the recommendation by Alberta Health, Olds Kiwanis Performing Arts Society is postponing our last two concerts; Susan Aglukark on April 16, 2020 and Grand Olds Opry on April 23, 2020. We are working to reschedule both concerts in the fall. All tickets purchased will be honoured at the rescheduled concerts.

Verna Charlton has been singing her whole life . Her heartfelt honesty that blends to create one of the most unique and compelling voices anywhere. In the early 90’s she formed the band ‘ Mile Zero’ being from Dawson Creek it was fitting . The band released many singles and won Country group of the year in 1991. Verna later did a solo career and went on to release 3 more CDs on her own. She had years of radio play and a top 10 single ‘Still in love with you ‘ . Verna now makes Didsbury her home and still plays in the area
Tim Hus has a voice sweeter than a Husqvarna chainsaw, a wit that is sharper than rusty barbed wire, and a list of songs longer than a Saskatchewan fence line! For the past decade Hus and his Travelin’ Band have toured to every corner of the land and beyond performing their distinctive brand of Canadiana cowboy music.
